This urban development project enhanced the historic Diriyah district with 8km of ADA-compliant pedestrian infrastructure. Noor Seal constructed heated limestone walkways using traditional Najdi stonework techniques, preserving the UNESCO site's architectural character.
The scope included installing 450 heritage-style LED streetlights (3000K temperature) and planting 1,200 drought-resistant native trees (sidr and athal species). We integrated smart irrigation systems with soil moisture sensors, reducing water usage by 40% compared to conventional methods.
The project also featured solar-powered charging stations and tactile paving for visually impaired visitors. Completed within 14 months, this development improved walkability while maintaining the area's cultural authenticity, supporting Riyadh's livability initiatives.
