As part of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula's cultural preservation initiative, Noor Seal implemented sensitive tourism infrastructure across this archaeological zone. The project included 5km of elevated boardwalks with anti-slip sandstone surfaces, designed to protect fragile Nabataean relics while accommodating 2 million annual visitors.
We installed "dark sky" compliant lighting systems (2200K amber LEDs) to preserve the area's stargazing conditions and deployed modular desalination units for landscape irrigation. The scope also covered construction of three visitor centers with local sandstone cladding, featuring interactive holographic displays of historical timelines.
All materials were sourced within 150km to minimize environmental impact, with 90% of workers recruited from Al-Ula communities to support regional employment.
